Experienced Team - In our team we have Laura, an experienced accountant who has worked in industry and practice since 2001. Laura started studying accountancy while working for a local company in Keighley before founding Accountax as a sole-trader in 2011. Laura grew the business while raising a young family, and eventually changed the practice into a limited company in 2022. Laura is a dedicated, hard-working and reliable person who is always available to chat to and answer any of those questions or uncertainties. Laura is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and as such completes many hours of personal and business development to ensure up to date knowledge is available to clients on accounting and tax matters.

Christine has worked for Accountax since 2017, helping grow the business into what it is today. Chris brings with her a wealth of knowledge, having a background in accountancy, teaching and CV planning and construction. An invaluable member of the team, who can often be seen on the jive and dancing circuit when she is not in the office.

Jenny has joined our team in 2023 and also has a background in accountancy. Jenny is currently studying accountancy through AAT to become a fully qualified member herself. She has a bubbly personality and is always on hand to offer help and advice. Dedicated and eager to learn, Jenny is a great addition to our team.

Affordable - We understand the time it takes to get paperwork in order, or the worry of getting your accounts and returns correct. We carry out a full consultation with each new client to better understand their needs and to put a plan in place to ensure those needs are met. We can discuss software packages where required to save time and ensure accuracy. We also quote a fixed price to all clients which is set in a written agreement so you know what your costs are and don't have any unexpected surprises when your work is carried out.
